I liked the location and the caravan was perfect.!!! but was not given enough information at the reception. They were friendly and approachable but I feel they must include more maps of places of interest in the welcome pack suggesting places to go.
They should include one welcome tissue, at least 2 tea bags, and sachet of sugar, chopping board, slightly bigger fridge for a three bed caravan. Tell us what is not provided in the package apart from food, so we go prepared as there are things you miss out and turn out t be things you look for at first glance like tissues. I did not like the idea of off road parking as I felt there was enough space to park our cars next to our caravan we had to carry all our stuff yards away from the caravan :-( :-( Overall, all was fantastic and the caravan was clean and we tried to leave it the same!! apart from the horrible weather on Sunday 10th Aug. The kids loved the swimming pool too.
But yeah, I would book another different holiday with you again!!!!😉😉

We had a fantastic week long stay at Rye Harbour; it far exceeded all expectations.

The caravan was much better than anticipated; we had only booked a bronze as only intended to use it as a base but it was modern, well equipped and sparkly clean.

The area surrounding the site is outstandingly beautiful, with totally deserted beaches, even on hot days. A little further afield and you are surrounded by the history of our great country; a visit to Battle Abbey is an absolute must.

Rye harbour is only a small site, but this is exactly what we were looking for. The swimming pool is small too, but as it is worked on a band system it is not a problem; on the day we went we had it to ourselves for quite a while, including the hot tub, which was bliss.
We went to the club house every evening, and the entertainment was really good, on some nights it far surpassed the large Haven site, where we had our own caravan for 8 years. Being small it feels very friendly and personalised, the staff definitely played a big part in creating this atmosphere.
We had planned to self cater, but ended up eating at least one meal a day at the club, and next time will probably do the half board option...there definitely will be a next time as we enjoyed it so much.

An excellent location next to the beach and nature reserve and only a short drive away (i.e. 10 min) from the excellent Camber Sands. Excellent 8 berth caravan - shame there were only 4 chairs (and no more when we asked). Outdoor furniture would have been a great addition. Park felt not too busy even in August, not too squashed, very small swimming pool. Didn't see any recycling facilities - how can this be in 2014 - should definitely be addressed. The town of Rye nearby is a 'gem' for browsing and coffee shops. Also great area for cycling - very flat and reasonable cycleway provision

We read a number of reviews prior to our holiday and so were not sure what to expect as they were quite varied. We - family of four including two 7yr olds - actually had a really good time, and although the site facilities were quite limited, were very happy with our stay. The caravan and site itself was very clean and tidy, as was the clubhouse. Despite what some reviews had stated the caravans didn't feel too close to each other and the parking was also fine. We expected accessing the pool could be a challenge, but, we managed to get slots. That being said, the pool arrangements were disappointing and we would have preferred more flexibility. The clubhouse was good, however, the entertainment was quite poor and at times poorly organised. We would happily stay again, but, only at the reduced price we got it for.

We had an amazing time at Rye Harbour, the staff are friendly & helpful and we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. We also loved the location, with so much wildlife for us to enjoy and the sea juts 20 minutes from our caravan!
The only thing that we found problematic was that there are no recycling or composting opportunities, meaning we had to take ours home with us or walk an hour to the recycling point at Jempson's.
Apart from that, we had a fantastic holiday!
